Briefing Assistant Overview The Briefing Assistant provides a briefing creation environment that organizes and presents primary materials (currently email messages) to a human report writer, observes their editing behavior and learns to produce successively better draft reports for the user to edit. As the drafts improve in quality the human is able to create better reports in less time. The Briefing Assistant initially makes use of models based on expert data and on data from previous users, it then creates a user-specific model, tracks its performance and dynamically retrains it over time to track evolution in report topics. The RADAR console detects incoming requests for reports and invokes the Briefing Assistant tool accordingly. |
