Overview
A strong architecture provides an integration framework for task assistance, a common infrastructure and services, and can be the basis of a toolkit for creating new RADAR task assistants.

Architectural features of RADAR 1.0 include:

Integration with legacy applications - users continue to use standard apps

Pluggable architecture for task support - new specialists can be easily added and removed - sharable knowledge base, NLP facilities, planning

Extensible handling of input/output channels - email, instant messaging, voice mail, etc.

Resilience and heterogeneity - specialists need not be available at all times - different users can have different kinds of task assistance

Mobility - users can access RADAR from anywhere
